Kate Singh is an award-winning photographer.  She spent 20 years in the U.S. Army as a nurse in the ‘healing arts’, traveling the world and being fascinated by the cultures she experienced. Photography was an important extension of her ability to remember the places she saw and people she met.

She continues to follow her passion for exploring & capturing the uniqueness of each person & event. She is active in local professional organizations teaching and participating in competitions with her peers.

Kate received prestigious business recognition from the Vancouver Business Journal's "Best in Business" 4 years in a row 2014-15-16-17 and "Best of Clark County 2014" from The Columbian.  

Named "Photographer of the Year" 2004 & 2010 by the Portland Metropolitan Photographers Association (now Oregon Professional Photographer's Association).

2010 and 2013 PMPA awards include several image awards and "Member of the Year".

Awards at the Professional Photographers of Oregon's annual convention 2012 included:
Best Portrait of a Woman, Best Portrait of a Couple, Best Portrait General Commercial, Best Overall Portrait.

2015 Oregon Professional Photographer's Association award Best Color Portrait
